R.J. Sims Preston, CEO

R.J. Sims Preston, is an experienced attorney with an extensive background in the technology space. Prior to joining PGSI, Sims spent fourteen years as a lawyer, both in private practice and as in-house counsel for some of the world’s most dynamic and innovative companies. Mr. Preston was Associate General Counsel at Quintiles Transnational Corp., a leading provider of research services to the pharmaceutical industry, and was Senior Legal Counsel at Nuance Communications, Inc., a leading provider of voice recognition, text to speech, optical character recognition and other cutting edge technologies. Sims’ experience spans mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property prosecution and maintenance and litigation. Mr. Preston earned a BA from Columbia University and is a cum laude graduate of Duke University School of Law.
